Cornudella de Montsant it is located not too far away from the town of Siurana.
It is one of the first ever and now rare and limited renaissance temples of Catalonia.
The statue that it is in the front of the temple it is dedicated to the devotion of the patronage to the Virgin.
What we will tell here is the leyend that tell us about the "miracle" happened when in the village were trying to decide its name.

The origin of this legend comes from the memories left by the parish priest of the church, a man called Pau Font, he was the one in charge of collecting, back in the XIX century all the documentation that were kept in the parish church records.
Between all his documents, we found this one:

I transcribe the text as follow: The statue image of our church (made out of marble) was been kept on one corner of the church. Back then when I was young I remember our parish priest called "Pages" and that came to be the one in charge of our church decided to make her a chanter and to procure it a name.

He decided to ask others priest around into selecting a name, writhing in different papers all the names they all though the best and ask a children to take a name from a small urn.
Some of the priest present there didn't like the name and decided to see what other names they wrote and this is where the "miracle" happen.
The same name appeared again!
Patronage.
As they all saw that the same miracle happened again and that they all wrote different names they finally call it a miracle and they called of the Patronage.
