Cambrils was always a fisherman´s villa, but this traditional wiew of the village has change somehow.
The village is just getting more human and more modern, it is finally getting into the 21st century. And it is all due to the new sea-side port.
A modern passage that includes a fantastic subterranean parking area.
Still the village remains quiet enogh, and warm enough to make anyone feel quite at home....they wont speak your language though, --not unless your language happens to be spanish--, so prepare to practice it!
When summer arrives, the village changes face totally, there seems to be people everywhere, locals and turist turning the village into an incredible multilanguage place.
Cambrils welcomes you to its port, its promenade, its yatch club, its people, its restaurants and its sun!
During the winter days, --usually are sunny and quite offen warm, way too warm--, Cambrils get visitors from all the vecinities also, when the days are sunny people come from all over to enjoy the special mixture Cambrils has to offer; the promenade and the sea side tavernas and terrases.
During the winter period, there is the Cambrils Curts Festival (FEC) that take place usually by the end of february every year,--see the spanish events en our site--, during three days the village enjoy lots of short films that compit for a pass to the Reus International Curts Festival wich take place few more days after.
