There may be many and various the reasons why it is so well known this small town of the Catalonia´s coast. Probably because of its "Sitges Film Festival" that take place here on the month of october and presents films from all over the world.

Or maybe because its night life is well known all over Catalonia, the "Dos de mayo" street is well known for it.
Maybe you have heard from Sitges because of its wanderfull sandy beaches.
Maybe because a nother celebration "The Sitges Theater Festival" on june every year.
To get to know this town one can beggan with the "St. Bartolomey y Sta. Tecla´s" church, very well known here and continue with the "Racó de la Calma", right behind the church.
Another excellent place to visit here is the "Cau Ferrat" Museum, with pieces from Casas, Rusiñol and El Greco. Near here is another museum called "Museum Maricell".
