Located in the Bages district Manresa is got two distinctive points, one of them raises over one of the two rivers the city was constructed between (Llobregat y Cardener) and is called "¨Pont Vell".
This old bridge is got 8 archs and its dated from the XIV century.
The other distinctive point in the city is the "Colegiata de Sta. María" an impresive building that raises above the city and not far away from the "Pont Vell".
Its contruction began on XIV century its bell tower though is of a more recent adquisition (XVI).

One must visit also its old center or "Ciutat Vella", the "Museo de la Técnica", el "Museo Comarcal", el "Teatro Kursaal", the "Soldevilla Colony" or the beautifull "Agulla" parc.
