Barcelona´s interesting places

This is where the city of Barcelona created a lot of apartaments and residencial areas for the Olimpic Games teams, creating as a result at the same time a new residential area called today the "Nova Icària".
If one walks one the Pg Marìtim then one can see the two huge buildings called the Twin towers, they are the "Hotel Arts" and the "Mapfre Tower", both with an altitud of 136 mts.




Inside of these huge constructions are many restaurants and bars becoming a well known area for the night city move.
One can easily see the huge "Peix d´Or" (golden fish) and the sculpure of "David and Goliat", just to mention some of the things to look at. Down under is the port´s main marina where more restaurants can be found.
As a curiousity, we can tell you there is a "heliport" on the Mapfre building´s roof.
