The Mª. Cristina avenue began at the two venecian style towers located in front of the Plaza Espanya and goes in a straight line up to the "Font Màgica" (during the night there is possible to see this beautifull font iluminated).
On its side there is the "Mies van der Rohe pavilion".
On can see alone the way many of the exposition´s pavilions and the imponent building that raises on top of the "Font Màgica" is the "Palau Nacional" (Today inside there is the"Museo Nacional d´Art de Catalunya"). On of the most important in romanic paintings.

On the "Sta. Madrona Str, 22" one can find the "Ethnológic Museum" (most impresive are the Jivaro´s tribe miniature heads).
On its back there is the "Teatre Grec" where every year here take place the summer festival with the same name. This festival is a very succesfull event presenting dance, theatre and representations on an open roof theatre.
