Barcelona´s interesting places

Located inside the Ciutadella Park, this is the Cascade.
If you find yourself near the Villa Olímpica, then you are quite close to this fantastic 17 hectare park
It is one of the largest green areas in the city.
It was a military fortress during the Felipe teh V period.
Due to the Universal Exposition" on 1888 it was all demolish (something like on present time would have been a humanities festivities!!), completly and it was trasnformed intoa public park.


This fantastic park takes in many important building in the modern city life, some of them are:
- The Barcelona´s Zoo
- Catalunya´s Parlament....yes it is inside this park.

Also here you will find:
- The Zoology Museum
- The Geology Museum
- The Verdaguer institute
- The Umbracle
and The Hivernacle, (inside this beautiful park one can enjoy all kind of summer concerts, most specially classical music.
